Sharjah Cement Factory is committed to promote highest standards in health, safety and environmental preservation and protection by establishing, implementing and maintaining HSE Management System.

We design and operate our plant and facilities to highest standards with due consideration for HSE aspects. We have well established procedures and systems for safe operation of the plants and facilities. HSE is managed as a line responsibility.

Various HSE training programs are conducted throughout the year to create awareness among employees and contractors. Therefore we conduct our business with care for the environment and without compromising on the health and safety of our employees and contractors.

We carryout risk assessment of all critical activities and ensure all risks are managed as low as reasonably practicable.

 

 

We emphasize continual improvement of HSE performance through employees’ participation and periodic audits and compliance to all applicable local HSE laws and regulations.

We have BS EN ISO 14001:2004 certification for Environmental Management system and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
